This link will help you if you want to apply to the exchange program. And another also useful link here.

First of all, I would like to highlight the fact that I, an exchange student, did not live and study at the expense of Erasmus+, as the university offered me the option of self-financing (when tuition fees are paid for a semester at the university, but no scholarship is paid). However, since Austria is quite loyal and fair to international students and respects their personality, they have created a special program "Ernst Mach Ukraine". This program pays 715 euros to a student without a refund and gives him or her the opportunity to study without thinking about the financial part.

Speaking about studying at the University of Vienna, I would like to highlight a few key points that will help you feel the whole atmosphere and mood of this place.
The first of all is that you are responsible for your own choice, and that no one at the university is interested in your problems, because you study for yourself, and if you want to get results, then everything will be fine with you and your education.
Teachers do not check your presence and do not worry about whether you have handed in your homework or not, but the system controls everything, including all your absences and unexamined assignments. In this case, if you skip classes or avoid them, you will simply be kicked out of the course and you will find out about it not from the teacher, but from the system.
You will use the course catalogue to find the courses you are interested in and to find more information about them: https://www.wu.ac.at/en/programs/incoming-students/exchange-semester/academics/course-catalog/filter/83014/0/0/0//
Be aware that when choosing subjects, not only their description but also the teaching schedule plays a role. Each subject is taught on an individual teacher's schedule. You need to make sure that there are no overlaps in time and your schedule. So be careful. Additional and general information can be found on the catalogue page or in your account after you have been nominated to the University of Vienna.
Immediately prepare a few replacement items just in case. As registration usually starts in early August in the afternoon, European time. Therefore, places for some courses can be registered very quickly (All courses have a certain number of available places for exchange students and these places are limited)
Be sure that there are no time overlaps in any of the courses, even in those that are reserve courses. You have a few days to register, so I recommend checking the places for courses that you did not have time to register for at the end of the registration period, so you have a chance to take what you wanted and can easily deregister from the course that was in the second priority.
About the courses: The courses are of varying levels of difficulty according to your level of knowledge and the requirements of the teacher. Each course has a different period of time, duration of lessons, number of lessons, etc. You are guided only by what you are interested in and what you want to study, as almost every course has highly qualified specialists as teachers, and there are also options to invite special guests from companies, excursions to companies and trips, interesting cases, teamwork, research papers, etc. All of the above can be included in one of your courses.
